Fairy Stone State Park, near Martinsville, Virginia

If there ever was a state park for the whole family, Fairy Stone is it. Plenty of tent sites, as well as rental cabins. During the summer, the park is a favorite with the locals who take advantage of the lake for swimming. Overall, just one fine park for kicking back, and enjoying family time.
